Recently, Handicare, a leading UK stairlift retailer set out on a mission to discover which country in the world was the best for older people. In order to do this, they examined a range of data, comparing living costs, health index scores, safety index scores, pension ages, property price, happiness index score and more. They compared over 100 countries around the world and their final ranking offers a definitive list of the best countries for older people to live in.
