A Day in Teen Wilderness Therapy

The students of the Outback Wilderness Therapy program have full days of work ahead of them. Some of these days are dedicated to therapy while other are for hiking in the Utah Wilderness. While out on their own, the students learn primitive skills like building a fire. We also play Native-American games like Double Ball. Our instructors are dedicated to the philosophy “Leave No Trace” when it comes to campsite maintenance. During their therapy, our students have personal time and we encourage other healthy habits such as regular sleep cycles, a healthy diet and regular exercise.Teen Wilderness Therapy
