There was a legend in China which tells that a man suffering from stomach pain tripped then fell on a sharp stone. The stone went through his leg then the stomach pain disappeared. This was told as the story behind acupuncture, a method of inserting little hair-like needles to different acupuncture points in the body to regulate the flow of natural energy of the body also known as “chi.”
The theory behind this ancient treatment says that the brain produces endorphins (natural painkillers of the body) once you insert needles in certain points in the body. Today, acupuncture is globally recognized due to its uses such as weight loss, hair loss, and especially body pain.
Speaking of body pain, neck pain is common nowadays to office workers and students due to bad posture.
