Know your Artist – Chitrakshi Singh

Chitrakshi is a self-taught artist who thrives to reveal the true personality of a woman. Associated with art since she was 5-year old, she began her artistic career in 2012 when she came to Delhi. Chitrakshi’s artworks showcase her unwavering belief in Lord Krishna and her supremacies. A firm believer of God, the themes of Chitrakshi’s painting revolve around spirituality, woman empowerment, and nature.
After successfully completing MBA in finance, she was doing a job in the corporate world which she left for her love and passion towards art. It’s not just the exhibitions that have witnessed her artistic brilliance; Chitrakshi has also been actively involved in numerous camp participation’s. Born with the name of Swati Singh, she changed her name to Chitrakshi Singh after stepping into the world of art.
The vivacity of a woman’s character has inspired Chitrakshi beyond measures. The usage of bright and bold colours in her paintings can be attributed to the depth of a woman’s persona which beautifully envelops numerous emotions and feelings. In addition to this, she draws strong inspiration from the love story of the God himself. She’s in awe with the unconditional and pious love of Lord Krishna with Radha.
