Contributing Crash Factors

If you are over the age of 16, there’s a high probability that you commonly frequent roads and intersections on a daily basis. Regardless of your town or city, avoiding dangerous drivers who are either texting behind the wheel, negligent to the road, or just have a lack of experience is inevitable.
Recently, an information resource was created that breaks down some of the most common age categories to be involved in accidents on the roadways. As you can see from the resource, the type of accident varies based on the age category collected. For those who fall within the range of 15 – 34 years old, reckless and negligent driving is the contributing factor to accidents on the roadways. For our elders, or those individuals who are 65 years and older, failure to yield is one of the most common causes of accidents.
Regardless of your age category or location, we can all learn from this resource. Texting and driving is one of the most highly publicized causes of accidents on the roadways. However, there are plenty of other factors that we should consider when researching the dangers that take place on the roadways. Check out the resource below for more information on the data collected.Contributing Crash Factors
