Understanding Learning Disability

January 8, 2015

A Learning Disability (LD) is a sensory disorder. In simplest terminology, it is a result in a complexity in the way an individual’s brain is constructed.

Kids with this kind of disorder have the same intellect or greater than their friends or classmates. The only thing is they may have difficulties in writing, reading, spelling, math problem solving, listening and so on.

Having a learning disability is incurable or cannot be fixed. It is a lifetime concern. With a proper support and assistance, individuals with LD will be able to gain success in school, in career, good relationship, and in community.
