What Can Microsoft Excel Do That Google Sheets Cannot?

Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets are two of the most indispensable software systems in the modern workplace. While these two powerful spreadsheet programs were introduced decades apart – Excel in 1987, Sheets in 2006 – both offer capabilities that are extremely necessary in today’s data-driven business world.
At their most basic level, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets are excellent tools for both data entry and storage. But they offer much more than that. Aside from their usual business uses in accounting and budgeting, they can also be used as data analysis tools as they are powerful enough to draw insights from almost every kind of data, and then transform these insights into detailed visual reports and presentations.
