Almost anyone you ask can tell you what you they were doing on September 11, 2001 when they heard the news of the attacks on the World Trade Center. Some at work, going about their daily routine and stopped, horrified, to watch the news coverage that came on the TV.
Some at school, not yet old enough to understand the severity of the situation, but saw their teacher’s faces and understood that something wasn’t right. Though we faced a great tragedy, we have thrived due to the uniting people and the rebuilding of the fallen towers. As it grows, we remember those we have lost and what we have to gain by coming together.
The One World Trade Center stands as an icon in the skyline. Throughout its building process, that skyline was inhabited by cranes and other machinery, showing its growth and progress. The cranes that built the tower are apart of what makes the rebuilding and opening of this monumental place so strong and powerful, because it was built with the toughest and sturdiest machines available.
