An electric planer is an electrically operated, hand-held tool for planing work pieces precisely planar, reducing material thicknesses and smoothing wood surfaces. While the wood fibers are cutting with a hand planer, the operation of an electric machine is similar to that of a milling cutter. Safe working with the electric planer

If the blade is dull, it is first used, then it has to be replaced. Change the planer blade

• If you are practiced on the grinding machine, you can also sharpen worn planer knives. Otherwise, the new purchase is perhaps more sensible, because due to improperly ground blades of the electric planer quickly milling deep grooves and other damage to the work piece!
